Black Myth Wukong

Summary:

I was SO excited when this game was annonuced. Being ethnically Chinese, it is beyond cool to see a folklore from my culture being represented. Paired with the amazing visuals, this souls-like game captured the attention of many.

Unfortunately I'm unsure if the English version suffered a bit, but not every UI screen got the same level of polish and love. I wanted to take all the good things that are already there and push it futher without redesigning the original intentions. My main focus was to bring in more of the color and shape langues referenced from tranditional Chinese motifs, with a focus on improving the visual hierarchy.

Kingdom Maker

Summary:

I was briefly involved with the Kingdom Maker game. I came in the middle of preproduction and the goal was to make the UI more cohesive with the rest of the game.
